Fingal is a rural area located between Rye and Cape Schanck in the Mornington Peninsula, next to Bass Strait and including the famous surf beach of Gunnamatta. There’s loads of things to do in this area. Beach time and swimming is the favourite of course but beware of currents and big waves on the blustery side; it can be dangerous. The Peninsula Hot Springs is not far away and people come from far and wide to take advantage of these waters. Another favourite pastime is simply taking a walk and Fingal is a great location for this. A must is to walk along the scenic boardwalk near Cape Schanck.
