Rosebud is the second largest town on the Mornington Peninsula and a very popular destination for families who enjoy its sandy beaches and shallow waters. Consequently, there’s lots of caravanning and camping along the Rosebud foreshore and plenty of fun to be had for the kids. If you enjoy your golf then Rosebud is the place for you. Rosebud is home to the Rosebud Country Club which has two 18 hole golf courses and is also very close to the major resort style golf courses throughout the peninsula. If you’re not into golf don’t worry, there’s plenty more on offer here. When you’re able to drag the kids away from the beach take them for a walk up to Arthur’s Seat, the highest point on the Mornington Peninsula. The views from here are spectacular. You’ll also be able to check out the sculptures by William Rickets and get lost in the amazing maze. By now, you’ll be hungry and there is a good chance there will be a market somewhere. Finally, head back to your chosen Rosebud accommodation for a well earned rest.
